Along the path of my life, I have encountered many stop signs and tangled “traffic knots” — intricacies that had to be patiently untangled before I could move forward. As I journeyed on, I came to see that I was not alone; others, too, were caught in their own knots, some bound far tighter than mine. I do not claim to be entirely free, but I have learned to tie my spiritual laces well — firm enough to walk my path with confidence, yet without the double knot that would make them harder to release when the time comes.
