Some fear a totalitarian power in this, others hope for a more efficient way of cooperation or up-lifting living standards, the ultimate goal; increase our civilization.
Is humanity phasing itself out when AI decides to become autonomous? It would be wise to create an independent monitoring agency , an ‘ethical’ gatekeeper that can intervene when things threaten to slip out of hand.
