“Never discard old shoes before new ones are found”.
Thereโs something symbolic in their worn-out soles, their silent stories.
When I see all these old shoes, an involuntary question arises:
How many pairs of shoes do we walk through in a lifetime?
The answer is only an estimate โ
Shoe lifespans vary, buying habits differ.
But chances are, we wear somewhere between 225 and 375 pairs in our lives.
And yet, we rarely think about it.
Like so many things โ we only notice them
when they become visible, tangible, undeniable.
A trail of shoes becomes a trail of thought.
Live yourself in, live yourself out.
(Step in, step through.)
