When intuition and composition meet in the synchronicity of life.

Lost photo opportunities

A construction worker walks on the street dressed in messy work clothes full of paint stains. It seems like dust is kicking up with every step he takes. Scornful eyes look out at the world from beneath his mischievous hat. In both hands he holds a cordless drill like a kind of gunslinger. A lit cigarette in the corner of his mouth. The construction worker looks at me questioningly, even mockingly, wordless as he walks past; ‘dare to take a picture of me mate, I wouldn’t do that!’.
I have to laugh sheepishly, but internally I come to the conclusion that my synchronicity failed me today, I saw it too late, I was not fast enough.
I just console myself with the thought; ‘I still have the words.’
I can weave the story, only this time with one ingredient less; the photo.
