It was in Paris in the last century. The many homeless people on the street. As a ‘young dog’ with my big Nikon camera, naive as I was then, I thought I would make it in photojournalism. You cross other people’s boundaries, make from someone’s shit your hit, something many of us still do.
That day I learned an important life lesson. After the second unsolicited click of my camera she beat me hard with her walking stick!
That day I learned painfully that not showing respect in your photography is not only bad for others but also not good for your own soul.
