It’s like a miniature safari from home — you scatter some nuts on the street and then patiently wait to see if any birds appear. Curious magpies and crows perch on the rooftops, waiting for a safe moment.
One by one, they cautiously land, giving each other space despite their differences.
For a moment, they look my way, aware that I’m watching them from my kitchen window.
