The Senselessness of War
War is one of humanityโs greatest tragedies, yet it continues to resurface throughout history. While it is often justified by political or economic motives, the reality is that war brings far more destruction than progress. The senselessness of war lies in its cost: countless innocent lives are lost, societies are torn apart, and resources are wasted on violence instead of healing and growth.
No true victory can come from the suffering of others. Even the so-called “winners” of war bear deep scars–mental, emotional, and economic. Children grow up without parents, cities lie in ruins, and generations inherit hatred and trauma. Dialogue and diplomacy, though more challenging, offer lasting solutions without the devastating consequences of violence.
In the end, war solves nothing that human understanding, cooperation, and compassion cannot solve better. It is time to stop glorifying war and start investing in peace.
